"Thirteen friends on a early summer holiday to Portugal, what an experience. The villa is situated in the heart of Budens, easily accessible from Faro airport (<1 hour drive). There are many lovely beaches on the south and west coast, and Lagos or Sagres are no more than 20onutes drive away. We had some great hikes, runs, beach days, pool days and BBQs and would recommend the villa to anyone. The hosts were fantastic, timely in replying and had some great food recommendations. "Great place for a family reunion. Close to the beach, in the middle of the Algarve, pool, lots of room, well equipped kitchen, beautiful space for a large group. Pool guy was great, cleaning staff excellent. Needs a few things fixed: gate to parking area didn't work, fridges missing shelves and freezing open, toilet water leaking into pool, pool skimmer didn't work, air conditioner in one room didn't work. All reported on the first day but not fixed in a month stay."

"Haus ist ein wenig runtergerockt. Türen blättern ab. In einigen Zimmern war Schimmel. Die Lage war problematisch. Das Haus liegt direkt am Strip, was dem Ballermann in nichts nachsteht. Es wird sehr viel durch Mikrophone gebrüllt und hat unser Urlaubsgefühl getrübt. Das müsste in der Ausschreibung viel deutlicher dargestellt werden. Der Pool war aber super und die Betreuung durch Algarve Vacation war auch gut. "

Villa is a great size, we had 12 guests and found there was plenty of space both inside and outside the villa to enjoy. "Couldn’t fault location & Villa itself but after care was nonexistent..we were welcomed by one of the team he seemed very good especially when he gave us his number & sayed ring me for anything day or night…well that turned into a damp squib….we needed fresh towels & more bed sheets..Which only turned up two days before we left…we asked to have the pool heated which we paid extra for…the pool was no way heated or if it was they don’t know the difference between hot & cold…the drains were...

"A stunner of a property with a story to tell! Took a moment to find all the pots and pans. Be aware that amenities such as shops etc are a distance away if you are walking and beaches are not readily to hand if you are walking, though easily accessible if you have access to car. Seemingly Uber are quite cheap in the area. Also be aware that there will be no salt/pepper/sugar etc when you arrive so advisable that you arrive with some shopping. "
