"We loved the location. Walked down to the beach, watched so many eagles flying in and all the kids loved the trains. It’s a beautiful home and fit our big family. With that said, after spending over $1,000 for our weekend stay I had higher expectations. We found blood on a set of sheets/bedding. The shower drain was so clogged the tub filled halfway while showering and after spilling water on the floor we wiped it up and the paper towel was black. "

"Such a find - a nice, woodland property in the middle of the city! Perfect location for our grand-daughter’s visit to UW Eau Claire, and pretty close to the Otter Creek dog park for our little dog’s fun runs. The teens loved the giant TV and wrap-around couch in the ballroom-size living room! Well equipped kitchen. Only downside is that is now beside a busy highway - but well set back and hidden from the road, so you don’t hear it too much. "

"I had the impression when booking that it was a stand alone residence not a 2nd floor apartment. I missed that somehow though it did say there were steps. Very nice hunting cabin motif. Didn't find any dining options nearby except bar food. We were in the area for a wedding so I was disappointed there weren't any places to hang our clothes overnight to help remove the travel look from them except for some coat racks. "Stayed with friends and accommodations worked great. Grilled dinner one night-a little challenge lighting grill but it worked great. The coffee maker was really slow so took a while to wake up in the morning. Many trains but enjoyed watching on the covered porch."

"Had a great time here for a long weekend with some family and friends. Plenty of space to hang out inside and outside. The game room downstairs was great, as well as the garage bar and bonfire pit outside. Perfect walking distance to a lot of restaurants and bars. Would definitely recommend this spot."

"My long time friend and I decided to get away for a few days, it was at last minute idea. We decided to go to Fountain City/Winona area to be by the river and see that part of Wisconsin/Mn. Enjoyed our time to relax and shop. The Farmhouse apartment is very nice and is exactly as described. If you love old charm in a small town, you will enjoy your stay. "

We came to Pepin for my Daughters wedding, a destination wedding, and it was great with no worries. Would recommend it to anyone. Family from Detroit, Iowa and Phoenix converged on Pepin and it was great. Can’t wait to come again. Joe"

"The house was perfect for our group of friends visiting for the weekend. Plenty of space for sleeping / hanging out. The yard games in the garage were a nice touch and kept everyone entertained. Breathtaking view of the Mississippi out the back porch/yard. Great overall stay. "
