When we arrived, the host/property owner shared that the property had been double booked and that we would be able to stay in the apartment the second night only. They did provide another property for the first night instead. It was not as nice, it was not as spacious, and no expansive terrace with the beautiful view. We also then had to move to the new apartment after the first night which took time out of our vacation....

"Mariangela’s lovely home became our home away from home quickly and easily. It was warm, inviting and so peaceful. The perfect final leg of our trip. The community of Castino was delightful. "The property is emaculate a true dream and beautifully kept. The history of the house is clear and Simonetta gives you a history and full tour of the property upon arrival. If you've seen the pictures they don't do justice to the property. Only negative is that we wish we could have stayed longer."

"Bei diesem Objekt handelt es sich um die Hälfte von einem alten Gebäude. Es wurde renoviert, wenn auch nicht immer durchdacht. In der anderen Haushälfte wohnt eine Familie mir Kindern. Das Haus ist Teil von einem Weiler und im Grünen (Haselnüssen und Landwirtschaft). Die anderen Häuse des Weilers sind jedoch neu und zum Teil noch im Rohbau. Wir hatten keine Bautätigkeiten. "Much better than expected. The Mulino had all the amenities we could wish for. Yes it is quite remote but that is part of the attraction. Cortemillia is nearby with 2 supermarkets, a couple of bars and restaurants and a market on Friday. The Langhe is superb and we will certainly return."

"We had a great stay in August. It was very hot so the air con throughout the property was most welcome. The property is well appointed and had all we needed. The pool was ideal for a cooling splash and lots of play with my daughter while her mum enjoyed the sun bathing. Alba is a very nice town with plenty of places to eat and discover the local produce and provided a great base to explore the area. Communication with Lorenza was excellent and easy to check in and was on hand if we needed...

Great location

"This was our third stay in Albergo San Lorenzo on our annual one month visit to Italy. On the way back home we like to visit the truffle fair in Alba on our way to Malpensa Airport in Milan. For the price this is an excellent location as they are one of the few hotels center town within walking distance to the fair that have parking. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and the breakfast is quite nice. "

"The staff was friendly, informative, and helpful. They gave us were amazing dining recommendations. The property is a decent walk to town center which is fine but it’s not a pretty walk. The birds were very loud. There was a Saturday night disco and people talking loudly at night. "
