"The apartment was extremely clean, well equipped and mostly private. Not sure if the apartment above is a rental but the people were extremely noisy. Check in was a bit of an issue as the sat nav said we had arrived and we were still about a mile away. Luckily we texted the manager and he came and found us. The pool was beautiful and the manager came most days to clean it and sweep the garden. I would certainly recommend staying here. Oh, and the view was exceptional. Thank you"

"The house is as lovely as it looks in the photos. It has everything you need and was spotlessly clean. The views were spectacular overlooking the sea and mountains. The hosts are available and friendly and even though it is attached to another vacation house they have made it easy for all with separate parking and entrances so you feel like you are in a private place. Auch bei Regenwetter haben wir die Wohnung mit Meerespanorama genossen. Zum Wandern direkt vom Appartement aus ist es nur gegen Moneglia geeignet. Mit dem Auto durch die Tunnels, ist es etwas umständlich. Es hat aber auch seinen Reiz."

"Margherita's apartment has a beautiful coastal feel, and view off the balcony could not be any better. The apartment is the best equipped of any VRBO we have stayed at in any country. Margherita is a delight and very responsive. Monterosso is the village to stay in Cinque Terre and then visit the other villages from this home base. "Paolo was wonderful and kind host. The village of Vernazza was very charming and picturesque! The property was a little beat up- one of the windows wouldn’t shut and there was a storm that night the window was banging and it scared my youngest son. Although, you had to climb a significant amount of stairs to get to the property, it felt like it was straight out of a movie. "

"Sehr nette Gastgeberin. Gibt gute Tipps für alles in der Umgebung. Wenn man den Aufstieg von 130 Treppen zum Apartment ignorieren kann eine perfekte Lage, wir sind ganz schön ins schwitzen gekommen. Mit dem Parken gab es keinerlei Probleme. Der nächte Sand Strand ist in lerici etwa 25 Minuten mit dem Auto in der Hochsaison sollte man früh los fahren um einen Parkplatz zu ergattern. Alles in allem ein toller Urlaub mit Action und Erholung. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit. "

We particularly enjoyed the location - close to the main square/beach/restaurants etc, but also it felt very 'Italian', it is a very pretty and historic part of town. The apartment itself is fine (it had not been cleaned when we got there, but perhaps we had got our timing confused). There were a few minor wear and tear issues (torn shower curtain etc), but overall it is a very functional and well equipped place - we were particularly grateful for the beach...
