Our room they had to unlock every time to go in even though they gave us a card key it had to be unlocked by a physical key to get in.

This will be our last time ever staying at a Comfort Suites. We had a bad experience in Gulf Shores, but decided to give Monroe a try. Big mistake. While the room wasn't horrible, the desk had something smeared all over it that my husband had to clean off. Even worse, the comforter on the king bed had multiple blood stains. We only noticed them the next morning AFTER we woke up and the cover on the comforter had moved. They clearly do NOT wash the comforters in between guests or swap them out with clean ones. I find this unacceptable since people do lots of things on beds that warrant ALL COVERINGS be changed after each guest. I took pictures of the stains...they definitely are blood, which is a biohazard. We will never stay at this hotel or any Comfort Suites again.

I had stayed at another comfort Suites within the last 2 weeks. Perhaps because it was new, it just seemed to Sparkle. I didn't quite get that feeling with the Comfort Suites in Monroe. The front desk attendant I was basically nice to me, but my wife felt he was rude when she asked about the location of ice machines.

Yes I had been checked in since Friday and my room key was working just fine but I return to hotel on Sunday evening the lady Erica at the front desk said she needed to scan my room key I wasn’t sure as to what she was saying but I let her scan my key,I get to my room and now my key would not work so I go back to front desk to let Erica know that the key is not working,I sat in the lobby for two hours waiting for Erica to get me in my room,after two hours she opened my door but I still had no key to my room this episode was very frustrating for me I don’t know what happened but I should be done

I did not like my room location which we asked the desk officer to change immediate after seeing the room location. The desk person did look for another location just stated he was sorry and could not change the room. We were located in front of the dining facilities and heard loud noisy in the early morning. Will not stay at this location again.
