"Even though it’s on the main drag, it’s very quiet and cozy. It’s within walking distance of at least 20 small restaurants. Wonderful hosts! Delicious breakfast! It’s hard to realize that about 80 years ago, tanks landing at Normandy rolled along these same streets. "

"We had booked at hotel la Bayeux but when we arrived we were directed to hotel Normandy. It was a little confusing but we called the number and had no problems. The girl who checked us in was super kind. Our room was perfect for our family of 5. We had Breakfast there and it was nice to sit and relax for Breakfast. We wish we had planned more time here. It is a lovely town. "

"The staff was friendly and very helpful. One challenge was that some rooms were not accessible by elevator. Once the elevator reached a floor, the rooms were up another half flight of steps. It was challenging for me who is a senior adult to get a suitcase up that half flight. I had to take it slow but managed okay. The onsight parking spaces were very tight and some were difficult to get into. Everything else was great! Hotel breakfast had a nice assortment of meats, cheeses, breads,...

"Evening staff not very welcoming at check-in. Nice property but none of the outlets worked in our room so could not make coffee. Had a group in so could not eat dinner at the hotel. Other than being a beautiful old mansion house, it was lacking in other areas. "
