"Brilliant place to stay for a relaxing beech holiday "

"A little slice of heaven. From entering to checking out the Lux goes beyond. Its incredibly clean, staff welcoming and attentive. The little touches really made our stay perfect. The rooms are so spacious, beds soft yet supportive. Daily cleaning and turn down service was always perfect. The options for food were excellent. For the 6 nights we were there the buffet was always different, the al a carte options also really varied and the skill of the chefs was amazing. We were blown away by the patisserie options and high quality food. Particular mention to Sharon and her skills with chocolate! The weather wasnt always on ourside during our stay so the current was a bit strong to swim for us but we were just unlucky due to the weather. But the beach is clean, plenty of sun loungers,and you can walk several km down to see even more views. Concerige is excellent and helped us book beginners horse riding on the beach which was loved. We would not hesitate to return! No negatives at all!! "

"This property is located in a beautiful beachfront neighborhood of the Island. I traveled solo and felt extremely safe. Security guards were surrounded the area 24/7. I was welcomed by a gorgeous and well spoken front desk staff named Fatima. Fortunately, she gave me the best room facing the ocean and it has a balcony. The air conditioning worked perfectly and I had breakfast delivered to my room daily. I highly recommended this property if you ever decided to visit the island of Mauritius. A shoutout to Vrishna for helping me with everything I needed. "

"Our recent stay was so amazing because the staff at Grand Gaube were extremely attentive and helpful. Nothing was too much and we were a group of 8 people and the breakfast staff always ensured we were able to dine together "

"Our apartment were cleaned every day the two ladies Jamie and (so sorry ) can't remember her name The chefs Jonathan Charles came over personally to address and issue we had and his assitance were a hand to solve the issue we had thank you to the amazing food and breakfast ,and all the the waiters were very helpful and we couldn't have asked for anything else, spa were amazing most day were felted very relax specially to eloon for helping with an issues Specially Dickens Allover it was a lovely relaxing holiday "

"The hotel is amazing. Beautiful food at the buffets and restaurants. Some of the best I’ve had at a buffet service. Beach is beautiful. Staff are lovely and helpful. David & Mr V at the scuba place are amazing and so good at alleviating fear for first timers and making it a great experience. Not a slight as the hotel, but be careful if booking the hooneymoon option through hotels.com. The website doesn’t allow you to select package and so on arrival we were told we had only be booked as breakfast only. The system isn’t great and certainly not clear. We had to pay additional £££ for a 9 night stay to upgrade to half board, which is what we thought we had booked anyway! Long story, I’d say go direct if you’re staying here as honeymooners. "
