A car is necessary, as the village has no shops, just a bakery open daytime. The stairs are quite steep, but navigable, even by an elderly person with a recent hip fracture. "We are already talking about going back! Peaceful, charming towns, great markets, beautiful view, fruit trees, wonderful owners. Always shop local first! But Should neighborhood store be closed Aldi is not to far.away. Great place to unwind and recharge. Cows are just down the road, they made me so happy. Car required."
