"Enjoyed our time at the place. It’s a half mile walk to the water but pretty even in winter. Many rooms and lots of space for large groups. We had 4 couples in our group and plenty of rooms. Great price for a winter getaway. Stoney Lake Tavern nearby has great food too. "

"This gem of a property was even bigger than it looked online. Extremely clean and well appointed home with everything you need and then some. It was also nice to be so close to the dunes area and the sunset at the county park is something you don't want to miss. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to the area."

"This house/yard/location combo was amazing. The house is so cute and the yard has so much to offer. We stayed here with a couple families and enjoyed that it was one street away from the beach, but not waterfront with our young kids. Two great parks within a mile and the lakefront was really nice. We had such a good time and loved our stay here. The house was just perfect. "

"Great place for a quick getaway with the kids and dog! Fantastic outdoor space with fire pit, great for hanging out. Games in the garage were fantastic for technology free family time. Older home with nicely updated interior spaces. Near by dog friendly beach was clean and beautiful, only a 5 min drive. 5 min walk to nearby beach, but not pet friendly, beautiful as well. Fenced yard was private but not completely enclosed for letting a dog off leash. "

"This was one second year at this adorable cottage. We loved it once again! The stairs to the lake were improved from last year. (Still no lake access, but we could get closer to watch the waves and sunset.) We are comfortable with the simplicity of handwashing dishes, and enjoyed unplugging from a hectic schedule with no wifi and basically no phone connection. All in all, a great place for a wonderful vacation!"

Also, we have rented a lot of VRBOs over the years and typically you’re left with like 2 trash bags, one extra roll of TP, and no other house keeping amenities. These hosts have it all for your stay, which is enormously appreciated and goes a long way IMO. We will definitely be back! Only thing I would note is that the walkway is steeper than it appears in pics and could be an issue for...
