"I was house-hunting in France for a few days. The caravan was a perfect base for me. Had everything I needed and is in a lovely location. Pascal and his wife were really nice. There wasn't anything that I didn't like about my short stay here !"

"We stayed as a group of 16 and had a fabulous week at La Grange. The kids loved the pool, the woods, the cinema room when it was cloudy, and the swing was a big hit. The adults loved the bbq and outdoor seating for dinner and sundowners. The kitchen was really well equipped. There was so much space and the play room / games room had toys and games for all ages. Communication was fab and they helped us with some recommendations of places to go as well. A fab week. "

"Certainement recommandé. Pour les personnes en quête de tranquillité, c'est l'endroit idéal. Nous aurions trouvé agréable qu'il y ait aussi des activités à faire dans les environs, mais Eric et Marie-Hélène n'y peuvent évidemment rien. Points négatifs : - Le jardin n'est pas entièrement clôturé, ce qui est VRAIMENT nécessaire pour notre chien. Heureusement, nous avons pu improviser une barrière avec du fil de fer trouvé sur place, sinon nos vacances auraient été beaucoup moins reposantes. - Piscine chauffée, mais en raison d'un incident avec des animaux qui ont endommagé le volet, l'eau n'était malheureusement pas assez chaude pour nous. - Certaines choses mériteraient d'être rafraîchies ou remplacées. - Il y a des objets/vêtements/nourriture appartenant à d'autres personnes dans la maison, que je retirerais personnellement. Points positifs : - Des propriétaires très sympathiques et accueillants. - Avant notre arrivée, nous avions demandé s'il y avait une chaise haute pour enfant, et ils nous ont dit que oui. Cependant, à notre arrivée, ils nous ont informés qu'ils venaient tout juste de l'acheter suite à notre demande. Nous avons trouvé cela vraiment gentil. - L'endroit idéal pour fuir toute agitation. - Très beau jardin. - La maison est équipée de tout le matériel nécessaire. Il ne nous a rien manqué."

"We enjoyed an amazing holiday with family at this fabulous property situated in the very peaceful town of Saint-Sylvestre. The property benefits from being on a incredible plot of land and perfectly located next to village sports courts such as tennis, small football pitch and playground which meant it was perfect for our two lively boys. The garden is huge and the heated pool is very inviting and they is cooler shaded space outside to enjoy some time out of the sun. The house is well equipped and oozes rustic French charm with a modern bathroom and kitchen. We were looked after by the host who regularly checked in with us via message. Highly recommend this property especially for families given the plentiful outdoor space and facilities. Thank you Martine"

"Well, the couple that own it Marie and Deidi were absolutely wonderful very hospitable friendly helpful. They spoke English I spoke a little French The room was very spacious comfortable, bathroom and separate toilet very modern Breakfast wonderful, all home made produce. Close to several towns. "

"A lovely rural location very quiet and charming hosts. A car is essential and there is a nearby lake Saint-Pardoux with numerous activities. Late check-in at 6.00pm made the first day challenging. Hosts Louise and James were fantastic and very helpful."

"Staff are very friendly, professional and polite! Breakfast was nice. Room quite small but was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was quite hard/firm. Shower room had a musty/damp smell and some mould in shower, extractor fan didnt seem to work and the shower head wouldnt stay up (kept falling down the adjustable bar) so had to bend down to wash my hair. Didn't have time to use the pool unfortunately. The restaurant attached to the hotel was good, again great staff! "
