"Hosts wee responsive to our questions. Views from bedroom were fantastic. Pellet heater kept the place warm. Host provided good instructions on how to use pellet heater. Loved our visit to local pizzeria for dinner. Parking a mid-size rental car was a challenge. "

"Very close to the bus and train station, lovely staff, clean room but a bit too warm even in February and no water kettle in the room, which was a bit surprising. "

"Beautiful, quiet and clean. Nice break from the bustle of Florence. Location is on the other side of the transition stop so get an uber if you have a lot luggage, otherwise it’s about a 35 minute walk if yo have a backpack. Because it’s on the other side, the hotel has a lovely garden with a view of the countryside. Breakfast was included and nice, including the well made cappuccino. "

I’ve stayed in many different hotels and have never experienced such a bad bed. I understand that the concept and vibe of the place are meant to feel historic or classic, but for a property of this level, the bed should match the quality of the rest of the experience. Upgrading the mattresses would make a big difference."
