"We had a wonderful stay in August 2014. The rental is very homey and cozy, but with plenty of room inside and fantastic grounds outside. It has fantastic views of the countryside. It was a good base for exploring Burgundy including the wine route. It is just outside of Autun, which was fascinating and an hour from Beaune, a charming town. Our only regret was we didn't get to use the swimming pool - the weather did not cooperate. The property owner was a pleasure to deal with."

Inside you can see immediately that there has been taken great care in choosing the furniture and decoration! "We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated. "
