"The area of town seemed a little sketchy. The apartment building is definitely older. Our apartment was clean but had a really strong floral scent which was horrible for someone with scent sensitivities. The bed was saggy and tge pillows were really flat. Some of the dishes were chipped. Ok for one night but would not stay again."

"Absolutely great place. Easy check-in, friendly staff, clean, modern room, comfy bed. Some didn’t like the gray theme, but that's the trend. Didn't bother us as everything else was top notch. Elevator, underground car park and only 20 minutes from Verona. Easy drive. Highly recommend. And based on the person that checked us in, spent the next night in Bardolina on the largest lake in Italy. We had no idea. "

Simply perfect if you travel with your pet. The place has been renovated with a lot of charme. Still, stay away if on the contrary you like posh places and central position. "We had an amazing stay at the villa. After 3 days in Venice arriving at the villa was everything we hoped for and more, especially the hot tub! The town was lovely and it was great to be able to walk in to it. We used local bars and restaurants and got all the shopping we needed. "During our time in Italy, we stayed in four locations and this was our favorite. It is such a comfortable home, with thoughtful attention to detail. The location is beautiful, nestled in olive groves and overlooking mountain vineyards. The hosts were kind and attentive. You do need a car to get around as it is outside the city, which was the only drawback. However, the property made that worth the effort. We would absolutely recommend this property!"

"This villa is lovely and old and very spacious. The hosts are beyond charming and so helpful. We were able to enjoy being in the country while also being very proximate to cities, towns, wine tasting and other activities, like hilltop hiking. The kitchen was not the most convenient for home cooking for Americans used to a more modern kitchen, but we managed. Our hostess made our first dinner, which was so nice and so delicious. This is an optional add-on. "

There isn’t much nearby his house other than a couple of small cafes and pizzerias so be prepared to commute to city center for meals and such (20-30 minutes by bus).
