"We loved our stay in the villa. The location felt rural enough but was also only a 10 minute walk into town (it’s a bit steep though) where there were some great bars, restaurants and a little shop. The pool has a great view and there is plenty of land (including an onsite vineyard). We had some challenges finding the villa by car due to some roadworks and the person who met us did not speak any English (we don’t speak any Italian), however a call to the property managing agent sorted this out....

"Beautiful, comfortable and spacious apartment. Very central - so close to Il Campo and the Duomo and restaurants and cafes. Great communications. Good facilities. Fab air conditioning which we really needed. Only issue was the back shower which trickled from the top shower but the other shower was decent. We had a lovely stay at Palazzo Nannini and look forward to returning. Highly recommend."

"This property is several kilometers up a gravel road from Murlo, Italy. The road is okay but we got a little concerned after it had been raining for a while. The property is remote and near several hiking paths. It is great for people who want to get out and hike around the hills of Italy. The gardens are really nice. "The service at this hotel was impeccable. We were running late for our wine tasting but they were still SO accommodating! The rooms were beautiful and the view from the hotel are amazing. "We had a lovely stay and the hosts were warm, accommodating and responsive. The location is incredible -- extensive views from both sides of the property; the hilltop village setting is out of a postcard with lovely little streets and nooks to explore; and the local shops, market days, restaurants provide everything needed locally. The property is adequate, a little rustic, but well suited to time outdoors by the lovely pool and as a springboard for day trips throughout amazing Tuscany....

"The Alma Domus really couldn’t have been any better for my 2 night stay in Siena. As a solo traveller I’m used to a small room and a single bed but the room was spacious and I had a queen bed. Bathroom was large and shower hot with good power. Everything was immaculately clean. I even had a view of the Duomo! Particularly pretty at night. Location was perfect. Everything you want to see within a 10 minute walk. And breakfast was a treat. Cappuccino, fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries & other sweet things as well as meats and cheese. Fabulous - thank you. "

We enjoyed our stay very much.

"We had an excellent 4-night stay at Hotel Italia. We were particularly impressed by the friendliness, helpfulness, efficiency of the staff - desk, breakfast room, cleaning service. Our room was clean and well-kept. All the facilities worked well: shower temperature and pressure, heating, lights, tea kettle, refrigerator. The beds were standard European firmness. The bedding was cozy. Breakfast was a delicious spread, with lots to choose from. The Hotel is just a few minutes walk from the train station, and an easy walk to the historic district. We highly recommend Hotel Italia."
