I had an excellent 4-day stay at Camino Verde B&B. The inn was located within walking distance of everything in Santa Elena. There is a mini-market right next door for anything you might need as well as a diner ("soda") next door on the otherside of the inn for excellent, authentic, high quality low priced Tico meals. Daily breakfast was awesome as was the staff. I espcially appreciated the kind help of Diego and Aaron who helped me plan my excursions. Many thanks! I'll be back.

Loved, loved, loved this bed and breakfast. We stayed in the private apartment.sepatate bedroom with a sleeper sofa. Well manicured. The breakfast was great. The staff, espexially Diego, were helpful and courteous. We ate at a nearby resraurant and shopped at the nearby mini market.

Amazing small place with excellent view
Great location, delicious breakfast, excellent service. We stayed on the triple room and it was ok, but very close to the Terrace so we could hear voices early in the morning. The view from the Terrace is breathtaking. The personnel gave excellent recommendations. The toiletries are eco the friendly and smell amazing.

The property is close to town with dining options, staff is friendly and very helpful. Downsides is no air conditioning which meant leaving windows open for air movement and the cars are really loud all through the night...will need earplugs.

We liked the location because we could walk to the town center to eat and shop. The staff was exceptional and the breakfast was tasty. We were happy with our rooms. We especially loved going next door to the "soda" (small local restaurant) to eat and to pet their cat Garfield. Also, El Camino offered laundry services for an additional cost, which we were glad to take advantage of.

This Bed & Breakfast was the perfect place to stay while visiting Monteverde. Its central location makes it easy to walk to restaurants, coffee shops and stores downtown. The common patio overlooking the valley is a lovely spot any time of the day, and the 3 PM snacks were a great addition. The staff are friendly and provided a great breakfast every morning. Jeaustin was always helpful at the front desk and provided great recommendations on where to go. Rooms were clean and the bathrooms were stocked with local soaps and shampoos. Overall a lovely place to stay.
