My stay at Bit Design Hotel was a wonderful part of my visit to Montevideo. Very modern hotel with great features, spacious and modern rooms and conveniently located. Close to all the amenities a traveler needs: excellent restaurants, shopping and very close to the Rambla for a relaxing afternoon watching the sun set on Rio de la Plata. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of excellent foods and incredibly good coffee.

People at the reception were very kind. Got a free upgrade to a better room. It’s a new hotel so everything looks nice and clean. I will definitely return for my next trip .

Really nice hotel, close to the mall, some really good restaurants and the beach in Punta Carretas and also close to one of the touristic bus stops. The premium suite is quite nice, spacious with a good balcony facing the ocean. It has some amenities in the bathroom, although no drinks in the mini bar. The shower was excellent, quite strong and warm. The room also has two sinks, which I appreciate quite well. The breakfast is medium, although simple. The sweets were not really good, but the scramble eggs compensate that, they were suberb. The downsize is the lack of room cleaning while I stayed there, even though there were no "don't disturb" sign on the door.

Excellent. Paul outstanding

My second stay, as I appreciate good basic requirements in excellent location. Garage has extremely narrow entrance but part of the time would park just by the sidewalk. Worth special mention, Paul who was the guy in charge part of the time provided outstanding service. He is clearly a vocational hotelier/innkeeper.

Meh. True 3-stars.

Location is decent. The lobby area is nice. The room was a decent size. Everything was clean but the room was used pretty hard and showed quite a bit of wear and tear. Housekeeping was hit and miss. The room was cleaned but coffee/tea stuff, cups, and towels were not replenished. Breakfast was fairly dull. Most breads were stale. The rest of the spread was ok.
