"Le Mayrinet is a rural gite and was much as we expected. It is situated about a 20 minute drive away from Verdun-en- Garonne where there are two supermarkets with everything you need for your stay. However if you are looking for lots to do, then expect to have to drive some distance! "Very comfortable and well equipped property with a beautiful garden and pool. Easy to drive to from Toulouse airport. The house is a former agricultural barn, very nicely designed and with modern furniture and furnishings. Everything you need is there and there are places to visit nearby. "This establishment actually has no official stars. This is a richly deserved rating. Apart from one very kindly cleaning lady, I can not think of one positive thing to say about this "hotel". The sign on the gable wall tells you the hotel has been renovated. The notice in the plastic cubicle that is the "bathroom" (the door didn't close) tells you improvements will begin in September 2017. "I was extremely pleased with hotel de college! Beautiful hotel, well appointed room, very happy with the thermal baths right next door. My room also had a mini kitchen which was fantastic as a great to go kitchen basically across the street(and I was by myself doing the gr 65). "We stayed at Cedric's property for three weeks, with friends coming to visit during that period. The house is really nicely set up to allow for entertaining and relaxing; the pool is the perfect temp, the house is cool during hot days and the living room and kitchen are spacious and well laid out. The bedrooms are large and cool during the night which was important for us - we prefer to sleep cold. Cedric was really helpful and suggested great local markets and restaurants. We realised (only after booking) that there are also michelin starred restaurants nearby, should you wish to dine out in those sort of places too. The local markets were really excellent and we found ourselves making good use of the kitchen. The furthest we really had to travel was a 20 min drive and that was entirely optional. The pool really made the experience for us; it's really relaxing to hang out there in the middle of the countryside. It's very private and you do feel like you can switch off. The place was clean (we also asked to have a cleaner midway through our stay). "

A wonderful time was had here....

"We spent almost a fortnight in this beautifully restored house right on the square in Castelsagrat. We had a wonderful time. It is very large house and very comfortable for 5 persons as it has 2 great bathrooms with very nice showers. There are 2 big bedrooms and there is really a 3rd ante-bedroom which is adjacent to one of 2 bathrooms. Through this ante-bedroom you reach the very spacious front bedroom looking out onto the Square. The 2nd bathroom, equally great bathroom with shower, has a small room containing the washing machine off it, and this bathroom serves the rear huge bedroom, overlooking the courtyard garden. The rooms have good shutters to keep the house cool as it can be warm in Summertime, and it was during our stay. We did not use the pool really as we were a party of 4 adults and were part of a big party of visitors to the area and had access to a larger pool during our visit. But it would be suitable for children, especially in the heat it would be a welcome facility. If you do travel with children, be sure you have a tv package like Netflix or equivalent as there is a tv appliance but there is no tv signal here. The rear courtyard is well shaded and cool, and we ate outside on a few occasions. The house has a good kitchen and a nice large fridge freezer. And there is a choice of 2 coffee machines, we used the filter coffee maker mostly. So, all in all, the facilities are very good.
