"A warm welcome and an excellent room. Staff very helpful. A liitle disappointed that the restaurant was closed on the night of our stay (Monday) but the receptionist suggested local places to eat. She enquired on availability but all were booked. Drove to Saumur (15 minutes away) and found several restaurants. Breakfast was great and the views across the Loire river were uplifting. Would reccommend."

"Hotel was holding a large separate function which initially meant we were denied a table in the restaurant - we were on a cycling tour, staying one night, so this was frustrating after a long day's ride. "This is a very stylish hotel in every respect. A beautiful building has been sympathetically converted into a small luxury hotel. Our room was very comfortable and the extras such as towelling dressing gowns and lovely soaps shampoos moisturiser etc. Dinner was the bistro menu and we could not have asked for a more delicious small menu, beautifully prepared and presented.
