This is a most wonderful place to stay in Montreux. We did pay for breakfast and it was well worth it. The staff is so helpful. We arrived after hours and the directions to get into the hotel and our room were excellent. It is close to the train station, restaurants, and right by Lake Geneva and the amazing promenade around the lake. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable bed. Street noise when the windows are open so had to sleep with them closed. Fortunately it is cool at night in October so it wasn't a problem for me. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Ideal location for enjoying the promenade along the lakeshore

Hotel de la Rouvenaz was second to none! We enjoyed every minute of our stay from check in to check out! The hotel staff was welcoming and engaging, sharing their recommendations on what to do while we were visiting, the room was absolutely stunning with plenty of space and an incredible view of the lake. Trust me when I say you will not regret a moment of your time with Hotel de la Rouvenaz! Additionally, their restaurant below the hotel is AMAZING- best meal we had!

The hotel is situated in an excellent location with very good reliable transport links. The staff at de la Rouvenaz were friendly and always accommodating. The rooms were kept to a high cleanliness standard. The attached restaurant offered a good selection on the menu which was very tasty. The next time I come to visit Geneva I will not hesitate to stay here again.

The receptionist was very helpful, friendly and pleasant. The rooms are very small; bed and pillow not very comfortable; you might have to negotiate stairs based on the location of your room. Well located across from the walking path by the lake and 2 minutes away from bus stop. From the train station, there are 2 lifts available on the Main Street (you really have to look and ask to find them). Otherwise lots of steps, not fun if you have suitcases.

Very friendly staff, large room (we may have booked a larger room), only had seating for 1 but they brought us a 2nd chair. Description states laundry facilities available which was why we booked it but there was only (expensive) laundry service and no laundromat nearby. No AC but windows open and there was a fan. Good location

Great staff, well appointed room, and ideal central location. Hard to come up with faults, but there are a couple. Firstly, parking is expensive, with really the only good option being 35 francs/day at a nearby public parking. Second, while being virtually right at lakeside, there happens to be a music stage on the lakeside that played into the late evening, at least when we were there. So, not the best for early-to-bed light sleepers.

Excellent Service from Checkin to Checkout, we felt that nothing was too much trouble to ask and support from both Padmila and Francois was excellent. Lovely hotel and adjoining restaurant 👍

Location was excellent! Room had a great lake view and was very comfortable. The only staff we encountered was at the front desk. She was great! We could walk to and from the train station, BUT on the route we took we had go DOWN towards the lake and encountered a LOT of stairs to go down, which leads towards the lake, turned left at the bottom of the stairs then a few blocks to the hotel. Escalator is available on the return to train station, in lieu of the LOTS of stairs BUT only an UP escalator. We had only carryon luggage, so it was okay on the down part, but if we’d had larger luggage we would’ve gotten a taxi or ride share. Overall it was a great location. The promenade along the lake is spectacular! Would definitely book this hotel again!

Wonderful stay in centre of Montreux

Super hotel, very central but very cozy and quiet, very good facilities in room and hotel. Just a few minutes walk to Freddie Mercury statue and less to the lakeside, perfectly located, so pleased to pick this lovely hotel. Breakfast buffet was great and not expensive for the locaton

We had a fantastic stay! An unbelievable view of the lake from the enormous balcony. Friendly and accommodating staff, and a great location to walk anywhere we wanted to go. Convenient and easy walk to the train station as well. Would absolutely recommend.

Amazing the Clerk Janice was awesome and went above and beyond to help us fell welcomed and also provide details about the city and tourist attractions. She even helped us obtain metro vouchers for free! I would recommend this property to everyone!
