Step out onto the spacious backyard and take in the picturesque vistas of the water. Relish in the beauty of the greater Potomac and Chesapeake Bay while enjoying a barbecue or lounging in the hammock, swinging or relaxing by the fire pit. The private dock is perfect for sunbathing, fishing, paddleboarding, kayaking or jumping in for a refreshing swim. If you have a boat, you can bring it and tie it up here and enjoy the best part about this house- the water. It is tidal, the minimum depth at low tide is about 2 1/2 ft.

Games await you outside also with corn hole, giant Jenga and croquet among others.

You can’t leave your fur baby behind, so feel free to bring your dog, but please clean up after them.

★PROXIMITY TO ATTRACTIONS★
Beyond the property, Montross offers a variety of recreational activities such as hiking trails, golf courses, wineries, and charming local shops. Discover the history of the area by visiting George Washington's Birthplace, Stratford Hall, or Historic Christ Church or take the kids to Westmoreland State Park or Shark Tooth Island to find fossils, the roller skating rink or the Tom Rhodes Tree Carving Trail. There is truly something for everyone here.

Note: there is a security camera outside looking at the driveway and front door only. There is no other camera inside or outside.

-The house is located in a natural & wooded area, so you may see & hear bugs, bald eagles and ospreys and other birds, furry critters of all sizes (including but not limited to deer, squirrels, and rodents), & reptiles. Our property has regularly scheduled pest control, however, we cannot guarantee that any such critters will not be visible in & around the property. Please try to keep the doors closed. Do not feed any wildlife as they are wild animals. No refunds will be provided if a local critter visits the property.

-The house is on a well and septic system. Do not flush anything other than toilet paper or rinse anything but water down the drain or the system may back up and there will be a fee passed through to the guest.
