"This facility has potential but the maintenance has been neglected. The pool and spa were shut down for maintenance but no one worked on it during the 3 week days we stayed there. The HVAC system (air exchanger) wasn’t working properly and it made the room air very humid. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and hardworking but the front desk staff acted like they would rather be somewhere else. It’s a great location."

"We were welcomed in the parking lot by the hostess at the resort and brought to our cabin. The place was fantastic! It was great to have a full kitchen and be able to fix our own food. My wife was impressed by the cleanliness of our accommodations, which are VERY important to her. We want to come back next summer when we have relatives come for a visit from Alabama."

"This was a good stay, I would love to return as it was a great location for ATV trail access, and a cozy place to come back to for the night. I would recommend a good deep cleaning in this cabin, as there is a cleaning fee within the rate but many dead bugs found in areas of the cabin, and what looked to be mold growing between a couple of the windows. Also the sheets looked like they had not been changed from previous visitors but we brought blankets to throw on over so not a big deal....
Enjoy the trails, and come home to a cozy retreat!

"I’ve stayed at this lovely little place before so I had my experiences. I don’t know why this time was different; the air had an odor smell to it, there was red gunk on the bathroom door/handle, and the sink would clog. Everything else was fine. A bit disappointed but I didn’t worry too much. Just had my expectations."

"Was a good little cabin! Loved the location, only complaint i have is the water heater was so small you could only get maybe 15 minutes of warm water for showering and it took many hours for it to build up again for the next person to shower."

"The guest house is something out of a hgtv dream. The heated floors were amazing on a chilly day. The property is quiet and secluded. This is the perfect quiet place to stay when doing nothing or heading to Duluth or other northern activities. I don't really have a reason to come back to MN, but I want to invent one to come back to this little slice of heaven!"

"Perfect location for our trip of three friends as we spent time here in August. We hadn't planned to get in the water although it looks very inviting and we enjoyed watching others out on their boats. It's beautiful for sitting outside having coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. Lots of birds to see. The nearby town of Moose Lake is easy access and had everything we needed. Great location for going up to Duluth for a day trip too. Highly recommend! "

"A group of 4 adults were staying here to attend a fundraiser in the area. Easy check in and check out process. The house has amazing views of the lake! One bathroom was challenging but overall we managed. The bottom bunk bed mattress was very comfortable! The beds in the time could be updated but manageable. We enjoyed our stay."

"It was great for our family of four. The kids loved the loft "bridge," and appreciated that there was enough space for us all to separate if we needed to. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The location is great; far enough away from towns to feel like you're away, and near enough to not spend all day driving to parks or the store. The host was appropriately communicative, gave great directions, and answered our questions promptly. We hope to come back to this cabin again!"
