"All facilities were closed at the hotel and areas around the hotel were full of broken bricks. The fountain was not working and completely in disarray. Breakfast was really poor. No tea/coffee facility and we had to ask for food to be brought out. This is definitely not a four star hotel. On top of that, when we came back in the evening, there was no one to be found at reception for around an hour!!!!! "What a beautiful hotel! This was a welcome respite from our hectic travel schedule in Italy. Set about 1 mile from the center of Pietrelcina, you feel like you are away in the heart of farm lands. The views are amazing- olive trees and rolling hills. This family run facility is top notch on service too. They cooked us a wonderful meal for dinner too. Would highly recommend this hotel!"
