The Woodsman - open fire romance in the Southern Forests
5/5 Excellent
Charmingly done up cottage, in beautiful forest
"We hardly felt disconnection life here, in a charming cabin with everything you may need, including wild bush turkeys, Emu, and kangaroos, to start! Only (extremely minor) complaint was there's no number in the house and navigation took us to the wrong one,but only took a few minutes to figure it out.Would highly recommend! "

Private Chalet for couples @ Frankland River Chalet Retreat

Beautiful quiet getaway
"Absolutely beautiful location and views. Facing the sunrise we had a gorgeous view each morning and could see the stars at night. We were lucky enough to even see a lightning storm over the Stirling Ranges that didn’t touch us.
The kitchenette was well stocked and easier to use than expected. The bed was super soft and overall a comfortable place.
Only negatives, the shower head wasn’t great and there was no hand soap? But those didn’t take away from our trip so not taking a star off.
Hapoy to return again for the peace and quiet. "

"We stayed at Scarlet Woods for three nights and wished we had stayed longer. The accommodation is warm, luxurious and comfortable.
We were two couples and their was plenty of space for everyone.
The property is well located to explore the area. Views are divine.
Highly recommended."

Unique Wooden Cabin for Couples - Frankland River Cabin

Fantastic, as good as I remembered
"We first stayed here four years ago, and then I said I would be back. We finally made it back, and the experience was fantastic. We loved the Christmas Pudding on the highway. :) It was Perfect for getting away and being disconnected from the world. The bowling club in Frankland is a place to eat and is of great value for money. Go hungry; the portions are large. It's about 10-15 mins away."

Shrapnel's Retreat; Cosy, relaxing Timbermill Cottage getaway! Pet friendly.

Wonderful stay
"Alyssia was excellent to deal with in booking Shrapnel's Retreat. The cottage was lovely. Clean and tidy. Had everything you needed in the kitchen. Shower nice and hot. Had a possum come to visit. Seen emus, kangaroos, blue wrens. The morning mist with birds chirping was heart warming. Plenty of blankets and quilts for those chilly nights. Will definitely return but must remember to bring plenty of wood for those chilly days and nights. The resident caretaker, Dan was very helpful and such a nice man. Overall a delightful stay."
