"Bei Familie Maurer wurden wir sehr herzlich aufgenommen. Uns wurde alles gezeigt was wir benutzen durften . Sehr schön fanden wir das wir jeden Morgen extra für uns ausgewählte Brötchen erhalten haben und so ein tolles Frühstück für den Start hatten. Wir fühlten uns wie zuhause und uns fehlte nichts denn wir genossen die unendliche Ruhe die wir zuhause leider nicht haben. Wir können es nur weiter empfehlen und fahren selbst auch gerne wieder dort hin."

"Great location, great hosts. We very much enjoyed our 3-night stay in Trittenheim. Though compact, the apartment had everything we needed. The breakfast our host Gisela provided was excellent and we enjoyed her company and our meal on the three season porch. There's lots to do in Trittenheim and vicinity and this apartment was an excellent base. Stores, restaurants and the ferry to Bernkastel-Kues are in walking distance and we rented e-bikes at the Eurostrand resort in nearby Leiwen to explore...

"A lovely, well-equipped house in a stunning location with its own fabulous garden. Brilliant for our family group of 10. Lots to do locally. The gem museum, gem mine, Celtic settlement were great trips and the open-air swimming pool in Rhaunen was much enjoyed. We visited Herrstein twice! Klaus and Anna were really helpful hosts. "This is a very unique property in that you check yourself in through a machine and locate your room by yourself. There is a communal dining area where you can prepare your own food. We had an issue with noise, being at the front of the hotel, and the manager who was present in the morning moved us and upgraded us to a remarkable room with a balcony! This is a beautiful property! It is very unique. The service was outstanding!"
