"The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room, large, comfortable and warm. Loads of hot water. We stayed 3 nights mid week eating in on 2. The bar was friendly with the locals easy to talk with, whilst the barman kept us all amused with his ‘young person’s’ views on life and good humouredly took all the ribbing directed his way. Continental breakfast only, except weekends when it’s cooked, but there’s a fabulous old post office a 5 minute walk away with cheerful staff and a good choice...

"We would love to stay again, really enjoyed it. Room was comfortable, dinner & breakfast both relaxed and beautifully cooked. Dog freindly, so was great for us. The space is understandibly put aside mostly for diners with tables set up, but the bar area could really do with being larger and more comfy seating. Posh, obnoxious kids took over in the bar which was annoying, but that is not the establishments fault."

"Excellent from start to finish Warm welcome from Tim and Robbie. Room spacious and clean. Bathroom spotless and spacious. Very accomodating for our two little dogs (even after one of them was a bit naughty at dinner on Friday). Food was amazing big shout out to the chef Jake, keep enjoying your rugby. The customer service is beyond reproach and there's a friendliness to the staff that is much appreciated. The Cementing meal that I had was wonderful. I had pigeon breast followed by halibut and then cheese board. Also had a nice bottle of Charlie's a glad of port. I'm hoping to make this an annual trip"
