"The location is great, right by a big shopping centre with a huge supermarket inside, a few minutes walk to the centre of town and the square, coffee shops and restaurants. I was shivering but the warmer is set to 21' but they could have turn of the heating..second is that there was no sufficient towels. Normally if you enter a hotel or aparthotel you get the towels for the number of days you are staying i,e 4 days, then 4 towels for every person. Next the soap, shampoo or lotion. "The nicest thing about the accommodation was that it was very close to the main train station in Lille. No air conditioning. Window had no screen, we needed to open window for air and that let the mosquitos in. Bathroom was tiny. No TV. WiFi very spotty. And the key situation was ridiculous. No drop box. They wanted you to go to some office to pick up the keys. My train was leaving at 6:15am next day. Was charge €20 ($26 give/take) to have keys picked up. Lot of back and forth with the concierge...

Constant noise right outside the door. The ad says the owner speaks French and English but they don't speak a word of English. We did not see the super well equipped place mentioned in other reviews. We do not recommend this place."

"The team at the hotel were amazing. They lets us check in before 3pm after a very early start to the day. The room was so comfortable and spacious. It was made up every day when we came home in the afternoon - this is a rarity in hotels these days. The hotel is walkable to all parts of the city and in a great location for the metro which is two stops from Lille Europe. Pool and steam room were never that busy and I nice way to start the day or unwind in the afternoon. Would definitely stay again. "
