"We had a lovely holiday at Maison de Bonheur. The facilities were excellent. Lots for children and adults alike. There was a shed full of different types of outdoor games. We particularly liked the boules. The pool was lovely and we had great weather so made full use of it. The accommodation was good too. Lovely authentic bedrooms with plenty of space. "The grounds are amazing - so much space, lots of chairs, great outside dining area and a fantastic pool! The kitchen is small but fully equipped. Beds are comfy (except plastic mattress protectors). For us the room layout was an issue. The two twin beds are actally family rooms with double beds in, not separate as it looks like in the listing photos, which are very misleading. This was frustrating for us as we had to have three children in our room - we had booked here to avoid that happening....

"Lovely large property with on street parking. Located around the corner from the main square. Forges-Les-Eaux looks to have had better times. Lots of restaurants and shops closed and quiet in the evening. We used the apartment for days out and we even had a day in Paris. "

"We loved this beautiful home, thank you to Marie-France and also to David and Kiki next door for your hospitality. We had a lovely couple of nights here, 2 families, 6 adults and 3 children. The place was immaculate and perfect for us to visit the area. We enjoyed the BBQ and the table tennis. The children loved Joh the dog next door and also got to feed the goats with David which was a highlight of their holiday! Highly recommneded."

"We had such a relaxing stay. The maisonette is so cute, and the nice area around it almost "forces" you to take it very easy and slow. We totally not felt guilty we only did a few trips in the larger Somme area and stayed outside the little house reading and enjoying the quietness and the animals walking by. The hosts are also extremely friendly and helpful and speak English."

"Quaint little wooden gite in a peaceful village rural location. Great location for visiting WW1 memorials around The Somme region. Amiens is a beautiful city about 25 minutes away. We used as a base to visit Lille and Paris for the Olympic’s and both were about an hour and a half drive away. The host was constantly in touch for arrival and made us feel very welcome. "
