"This is our 2nd stay. Cant' say enough regarding Captain Ron! Wonderful gentlemen and tries to accommodate you with anything you need. The boat is a wonderful unique experience. You need to like boats or this is not for you. Look for egrets and herons. Turtle hangs out by boat looking for food. Captain Ron is also a great writer. Check out his book Bohemian Skipper! Interesting read. Linda & David Gober "

"This was a great home base for a weekend visit to Richmond with our dog. Easy walk to Caryrown and a bunch of other restaurants around The Fan. The apartment was clean and well equipped, and the bed was comfortable. As some have mentioned, was loud at times, especially the first night when they seemed to be walking around late into the night. I’d suggest earplugs just in case."

"I stayed at the Magnolias during one of my friend's wedding weekend. The magnolias was a great place to recharge from all of the activity. Check in was easy and streamlined and there was an abundance of cute animals around. (Ducks, an orange cat, and the dogs of the owners) The suite is completly private and many amenities have been provoded along with a kettle, microwave, taster and keurig. It was a comfortable and clean place to stay. "

"We enjoyed our stay here. It was close walking distance to the VCU where we did a lot of our work that week. The house was clean with a lot of amenities and small comforts like toiletries and a parking space which made a huge difference. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Thank you!"

"Spent the weekend at Terre Haute with friends from college. The home and grounds were beautiful! The host was fantastic and we appreciate the treat basket left out for us. The books were fantastic! It was very quiet and peaceful and I would definitely stay again. My only suggestions would be to offer a little more comfortable seating for just having coffee and catching up. Otherwise, thank you for a lovely stay."

"Nice, clean property with everything needed. We really enjoyed the proximity to anything we needed while still being in a quiet area. We were in town for a wedding nearby and it was absolutely great to have a few immediate family members and spouses stay with us instead of renting individual hotel rooms. "We loved the house and the location. Very centrally located for visiting the sights of Richmond. The backyard was an urban oasis. Property was clean and well appointed. Only issue was that the door code was not given out until the day of check in contrary to the norms for VRBO (which is usually 3 days before check in). The loft had everything we could have asked for and was immaculate. Instructions for entering the loft were clear and easy to follow, as well as communication before, during and after was A+! My only suggestion is that the outside of the place was difficult to find - possibly a photo of the entrance would help! But once we found it, the rest of the stay...
