"Very happy with this hotel for a stop over. May be 2 stars but was super clean and comfortable which is what you need after a long drive. Staff very friendly. We needed air con and pet friendly and this place had both. Don’t actually know how they are making any money as it’s such good value. Would definitely stay here again. You can park your car right outside your room too and there is a restaurant next door with great French food. Made it a really easy stop for us "

On arrival access was problematic and achieved only with the help of another visitor. Eventually one (extremely surly) staff member with poor attitude opened the door and dismissively pointed to envelopes containing the room keys before disappearing in a cloud of disinterest without providing the front door key code which the other...

"LIKED Friendly, helpful staff. Quirkiness of the decor and furniture that you only find in French hotels. Overall cleanliness. Very comfortable bed and room. Ample breakfast. Availability of tea and coffee. DIDN’T LIKE (just minor things) Parking very tight and therefore tricky, no milk with the tea and coffee (though got a jug on request). No slip mat in bath when using overhead shower, nor any handles. Coffee at breakfast served in an open jug so went cold by the second cup."
