"Gums and Roses was such a gem to find in the Adelaide Hills! We loved the tiny house; small but has everything you could need, and in the perfect location. Perfect for watching the horses and kangaroos and close to the pubs if you're after a meal at night. Our host was so nice and let us come and meet her horses which was great. We would definitely book here again!"

"Easy to enjoy. Staying in a renovated 160 year old building was great. The modern comforts of heating and cooling ensured a great stay. Help was close at hand but not in the way. "We booked this house for our wedding party and it was absolutely perfect! All rooms were huge and had their own bathrooms. Plenty of space for guests to spread out and have their privacy but also come together in shared living areas. Great location and beautiful gardens! The indoor pool is also great if the weather isn’t on your side!"

"It was a great house for a group of people loved the area. some maintenance is needed - Toilet leaking on floor cistern broken ,running out of water while in shower ,9 people unable to use toilet in the morning the manager addressed this quickly but water pressure took a long time to come through ,a better pump is needed, shower fan not working ,a little garden maintenance .As a food safety supervisor I do not recommend leaving opened food in fridge and pantry ,you don't know how long it has...

The gardens were stunning and perfect for bbq’s and relaxing, while the central location made it easy to enjoy everything the Adelaide Hills has to offer. From wineries to charming villages, it was all so close, and being just 20 minutes from Adelaide was a bonus. It felt like a peaceful retreat for the whole family, and we can’t wait to return!"

"Property is right in the heart of Hahndorf. We were given an upstairs apartment. Not the best if you have large suitcases. The stairway is inside the apartments. Lovely shower although our showerhead needed a good clean and descale. Otherwise all good. Have stayed before and would stay again in a downstairs apartment."
