"The is property was fantastic for me and my family for 2 nights to celebrate Christmas. Unlike some other properties in the past this place had ALL the essentials you could expect to need which was a nice suprise. And the large double oven was perfect for Christmas lunch Thanks so much. "

Property described as pet friendly however backyard was shared with other guests/dogs - adjacent pet owners had unfriendly dog so we were unable to use backyard which is why we choose the property. Future guests should note that whilst the yard is fully fenced, it is shared with other guests. Beds were comfortable, property a mix of old and modern which we really enjoyed. "We enjoyed our stay at this property. Driveway was very steep and narrow, so as we had a Cruiser I had to get out further down the drive, and my husband had to be careful to park. Once we were in the house it was very comfortable with great views. We could see the carpark of Sovereign Hill from the deck in front of the property, it was that close! Lovely to sit there in the afternoon with a glass of wine. Thank you for providing such a nice house."

"A lovely place to stay with all the creature comforts we could have asked for. The property is hosted by the exceptional Tony, who checked in with us after arrival to make sure we were happy and see if we needed anything, and better yet, was only too happy to oblige and help out where he could when we did ask for a favour. "Good little house if staying for short term. Great central location. Bedrooms comfortable. Kitchen well equiped. Plenty of dining space and large comfortable couch in lounge.Front has quite high steps and parking is beside the old cobble stone gutters found throughout Ballarat, so something to consider if travelling with disabled or elderly. "Upon arrival there was fresh bread and fruit. Lovely touch unexpected. The unit was beautiful, very clean. Very well equipped with everything you could need. "Goldfields Manor was a lovely place to stay. Very central to everything. We walked to breakfast and shopping in Sturt Street. We had plenty of room for our group of 8 people"

"The area is lovely and quiet, and yard was secure for my dog, but overall I was very disappointed in our stay. The stay included the oven, fridge and TV not working or stopping working, and I expected a cleaner house for the cleaning amount included in the price. The property manager was very communicative and responsive."

"This property is inaccurately portrayed in many ways. There is no balcony, the barbeque is unusable due to rust everywhere, the bath is pink and disgusting, the garden has not been maintained, the windows need a clean, the cutlery had to be washed before being used, one of the two frying pans is very badly scratched and can't be used, the path you can see in the photos is half overgrown, and the list goes on.
