"This cute little cottage is perfect for a couple or solo trip, house was cosy and has a decently stocked kitchen with all the basics you’d need. Really comfy bed, it was lovely having a slow morning (due to a generous midday check out) relaxing and watching the birds in the backyard. Will definitely visit again! Pam was an excellent host, great communication and cottage was clean and tidy. "

"This cottage ticked all the boxes for us -comfortable, well-furnished, and cute as a button. The bedroom has good bedside lamps for reading and we slept well. The kitchen and living space are well designed and attractively styled. The air-con cools the house nicely, and the fireplace looks very inviting for the winter months. But lovely as the interior is, our favourite spot was the front porch with its sunny aspect and restful view of trees. Hard to say who liked it more - us or our kelpie....

"Lovely property, renovated (but not "restored") to high standard but modern electricals (great wifi, TV) and kitchen/baths. Spacious home, multiple eating areas, quiet street, and with a terrific host. Maldon is a charming small town and well-located to see the goldfields area. Only downside is there are only a couple of places in the town proper to dine out (Castlemaine is close). But a great place with all creature comforts."

"We had a great stay at the property, it was exactly what we needed! The property is conveniently located being so close to town (walking distance). The kids loved their bedroom, the games provided, and the Easter treats were a very sweet touch. The whole house was very comfortable and plenty of amenities. Would love to stay again."

"Muckleford Cottage was the perfect place for a weekend out of the city. Myself, my partner and our dog needed somewhere to stay that was close to a friend's birthday celebrations in Campbells Creek.
