I purchased “Casa de Fior” (Fior's Home) in honor and for my mother in hopes she’ll one day retire and want to live closer to me. It’s conveniently located in the historical district of downtown Mount Dora.
In the meantime guests can enjoy the comforts of her home until she’s ready to retire.

Mt Dora mini vacation with my dog
Mt Dora is a charming town with a great historic district, and our host house provided an also charming retreat while there. It’s a dog friendly house and Mt Dora is a dog friendly town. There are great trails nearby, and a boardwalk hike, over the water, that is a beautiful place to walk. Do pay attention to the Gator warning signs tho!

Quaint cottage with a excellent access to downtown Historic district.
A great and comfortable place for a small family or 2 couples. The enclosed backyard was a bonus for our little dog, and it has ample space for family members to enjoy too.

Great get-away!
The cottage was in a quiet residential area with beautiful trees. It was clean and appointed with all the things needed in the bath and kitchen. The only drawback was the tv, the local stations were unavailable (for the Super Bowl game. We loved the downtown area and parks.

Everything was as described. Beds were comfortable. Location of the house was near downtown. Back yard was great for our dogs and fenced in. Only complaint….please fix the door knob to one of the bedrooms. It kept falling off.

Wow, what an adorable and very comfortable property in Mount Dora centrally located and within walking distance to downtown Mount Dora, which is a must to visit. Our hostess, Jessica, was extremely knowledgeable of things to do in the area and she was always accessible, very responsive and extremely helpful. We plan on returning to Mount Dora and staying at this adorable property! Thank you, Jessica, for making our stay so wonderful!
