"I love Grotto Bay beach resort. I've stayed there in the past and I will return at some point in the future. There was an issue that occurred which is why I gave four stars instead of five. We stayed here the weekend of 2/21/25- 2/24/25. It was a little bit colder than usual so we switched from A/C to heat. Not only did the heat not work but the fire alarm went off and we smelled smoke.
