Welcome to the Green Monster & the Modern Mountain Retreat. This compound contains two beautifully renovated homes on one large lot in Mount Pocono. Sleeping arrangements for 26 people! Minutes to all of the Poconos has to offer! Everything you need and more for your oversized family friendly Pocono retreat. Indoor slide that leads to a playroom. Two Outdoor hot tubs and two firepits; Prohibition style basement bar for adults. Enjoy all of the amenities of a hotel but it feels like home.

The Green Monster house is a fully restored and professionally designed Victorian home. The Grand Entrance has a large mudroom, a huge living area and Dining Table for a King. The Kitchen has a large island, built-in nook and boasts top of the line Viking Appliances. In total, it has 6 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The first floor has 1 Queen Bedroom and 1 Full Bathroom. The second floor has 4 Queen Bedrooms, 1 Full Bedroom, 1 Twin Mattress in the Slide Room and 2 Full Bathrooms. The third floor has 1 Twin Mattress and 2 Fold-down couches suitable for children. The entrance to the slide and the kid's TV room is also located on the third floor.
The basement is a Prohibition-Style Bar hidden by a secret door complete with a pool table, Bluetooth Phonograph, Smart TV and a Half Bathroom. The exterior has plenty of seating, BBQ Grill, firepit and hot tub, along with a custom river rock water feature.
The Modern Mountain Retreat is a 4 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom house with a firepit, BBQ Grill, and hot tub of its own. The ground floor is an entertainment area with Ping Pong, Shuffleboard and a Smart TV. There is also a Queen Pullout Couch.
The second floor is the modern living area and country-style kitchen with a patio with plenty of outdoor furniture. There are 2 Queen Bedrooms and 1 Full Bathroom on this floor. The Third Floor has 1 Queen Bedroom, 2 Single Beds in another Bedroom, 1 Full Bathroom, and a full library for all types of readers.

Both houses, interior and exterior are private for guests only.

We are always available for phone or text. We have people in the area that can help with certain things if necessary.

Mount Pocono is a beautiful mountain community with everything you need in walking distance. We're no more than 15 minutes away from all attractions including Kahalari, Camelback Mountain, Mt Airy Golf Course & Casino, Vineyards, Big Pocono State Park, The Crossings Shopping Outlets and much, much more!

You can walk into town in a few minutes and go to a convenience store or stop by one of the many restaurants in the area.
Uber is also available in the area.

Absolutely no setting off fireworks. Although you can buy them, it is illegal to light them.

The booking party must be at least 25 years old and must be present at the home throughout the stay. Individuals under the age of 21 will not be allowed on the property without their parent or legal guardian, unless prior written agreement has been made.
$50 guest insurance included in the final price. It is both guest and host insurance and is not optional. Please do not park on the access road for the property. Park on the side of the house with the fence and picnic table. Absolutely no smoking inside. Any smell of any form of smoking (tobacco, vaping, marijuana, hookah, etc) will result in additional charges.

Late check-out and early check-in may be available for a small fee, depending on availability.

Undisclosed or unapproved pets will incur a charge of $250 to $500, per night.

Please be aware that as the booking party, you are responsible for reimbursing any fines or fees incurred during your stay. In the event that a fine is issued, we will handle the payment and request reimbursement from you after your stay is completed.

Perfect stay in Mt Poconos
Our crew of 16 rented the King & Queen of the Poconos for a winter break getaway, due to its close proximity to the Camelback resort. The main house was spacious, clean and came stocked with most of the basic necessities. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tubs and the speakeasy in the basement of the green monster. Both providing hours of entertainment for all ages. We would definitely rent this property again if any of our future plans bring us to Mt. Pocono.
