"Needed a hotel before heading North for a wedding, it had everything we needed and the staff were excellent. We had a meal and a few drinks, we stayed in the better rooms on the top floor which gave us a great view over the river."

Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. "We totally enjoyed almost everything about this property. The location, the ease to find and all the amenities. The staff super nice, the pool and steam a great treat after a long day. The restaurant for breakfast is very good, lots of selection. The dinner on the other hand was lack luster with options that that were limited. Nothing for a non meat eater and the service was confusing. overall I highly recommend and its great value. "

"Very picturesque property with nice outdoor seating area. Hotel set in a beautiful area. Room very worn and in need of make over. Floor was lifting and bubbled and needs maintenance. Wifi was an additional charge and was the worst ever experienced! Did not participate in breakfast as additional charge, did not use the gym or pool area as additional charge. All quite disappointing at nearly £100 per night!"

"First, the employees were all so good. Camille especially went out of her way to help. She even translated for me helping to get our VRBO. The hotel is nice and super clean. One star off only because of Harley-Davidson facility next door."
