"We stayed for just on night. The cabin was nice, it's a nice old cabin, floors were squeaky and loud, but I guess that added to the charm. The only complaint is the twin beds were as hard as a rock, felt like laying on plywood. Seeing the devastation in the area was also heartbreaking. The location was perfect for us to enjoy our family in Grassy Creek."

Took home a few gallons and should have stocked more. My dog loved the property as well. "We brought our two kids and high-energy dog and had a blast exploring the property and surrounding area. Since we arrived on Christmas Eve, Lisa even asked if we would like a tree with ornaments we could use to decorate. We loved this beautiful treehouse filled with fine art details--stained glass, whimsical light fixtures, and all around stunning craftsmanship. Extraordinary home and setting! "This was hands down the best stay my husband and I have ever experienced. The home itself was exactly what we were looking for. It's such a peaceful and quiet place set back away from civilization. "By far the best place we have ever vacationed to. The cabin is absolutely beautiful, spacious, well stocked, and was a home away from home.It's a bit of a walk down to the river but we drove down a few times and that was much easier. Tried fishing but weren't successful. Probably too cold. Just a 15 min drive to groceries, gas and restaurants. We saw deer but brought our husky so we didn't leave out corn. Played some fun board games and took walks in the snow flurries we got on new years day....
