"This is a great place right on the canal. The master bed is so comfy. Jeff provides everything you need for a great and relaxing trip. We've stayed 3 times and already booked for our next trip. There is nothing like the clear water on the canal,and a nice lawn to sut and enjoy."

"Overall our stay was great. The home was very clean and had great access to our destinations. The only bad part of the stay was the beds. The mattress in the master bedroom was so thin that we could feel boards of the box springs. It was very uncomfortable and disruptive. It may have been the worst night’s sleep we’ve ever had. The second bed mattress was hard, but manageable compared to the master bedroom mattress. "

"We were looking to stay somewhere close to Stsircase so we could visit the campground and area but have a dry place to sleep. This little cabin was perfect! It had everything you could want and it was laid out so efficiently. There were four us who stayed with our dogs and we were able to hang out and watch a movie with the help of a small air mattress. The cabin felt very private despite neighbors all around. Unfortunately we didn’t get to utilize the fire pit area but we were able to borrow...

"Great little cabin on a sparkling lake, with good food and a friendly welcome in the restaurant on site. (Don’t miss the biscuits and gravy!) Had all the creature comforts I needed. Note that the “fireplace” is electric, not a wood burner. The kitchen has been enhanced with a chef’s cart, pots and pans, and a two-burner cooker. Also not pictured are the table and chairs and little hibachi outside. Coffee, cocoa, tea, and charcoal were provided. "

"I had a girls trip just me and a friend and this cabin is perfect for a simple stay in the middle of nowhere. I love that there’s a restaurant/bar in the parking lot. "Loved the location! It was so peaceful and quiet. There were many outdoor activities like hiking, sitting at the lake, playing on the playground or taking a walk around the neighborhood. It was all within a step out the door or less than a 7 minute drive. The home was cabin felt but like being at home. It was clean, spacious, beds were extremely comfortable(with plenty of choices of sleeping arrangements for the kids) and the two full bathrooms were a plus! Loved the open feel of the kitchen...

"We loved staying here. They’ve got all the pots pans salt pepper and Cajun seasonings as well as sauces. For checking in the check list was a huge process and I wasn’t sure and am still not sure if I was supposed to fill that or the cleaning people. I wish there was more of an explanation there. I’m also not fond of having to check and make sure the cleaners did everything right. Not my job. But all in all, good experience"

This cabin is located a half mile from a gorgeous mountain lake! This cabin has an epic DVD selection for late nights! Hoodsport is a great small town with cute shops/restaurants.
