"Great little spot for a simple overnight stay when passing through on a bike tour. Check-in via keys in a lock-box, clear instructions on the door with a number to call. Very friendly host on the phone, room was basic but clean and well prepared, wifi code laid out. "When I arrived there was no one at reception. Eventually a nice French gentleman came but couldn't find my booking. He did give me a room but had to knock on my door to get to sign in. I always ask for a quiet room. My room faced directly onto the busy main rod outside with trucks and buses etc. passing by all night. At 8.00 am or so they started construction inside the hotel with screaming drills and sawing noises. Never again at Wiking Hotel"

"Checkin staff was busy with a video call and just let us wait without any reaction. After a while the annoyed receptionist told us to wait for a colleague to come who was „running around somewhere“. "This property was listed as a guesthouse with one bedroom over a bakery in town. Then we were given instructions to go somewhere else in the the middle of know where. It was a hostel that only provides one room and bathroom. The kitchen and refrigerator were shared among all the guests. The room was filled with spiders everywhere. It didn’t appear dusted. Spider webs were hanging from the ceiling and tv and door ways. No where to walk to a store or restaurant. "

It was not obvious for us that that was the reception. We had some difficulties explaining to the "non-english" speaking person behind the counter that we had already payed through Pay pal. Luckily there was a guest at the restaurant who was able to translate for us."
