"Nice place to sleepover. Clean, easy to find, large parking lot with charging option, and Lidl charger next building. The big negative is the communication with the host. I haven't gotten any messages through hotels.com and the phone customer service doesn't work in the evening. This is very strange. Further, after the checkin procedure, I received a code to enter, but the door to the corridor opened strangely not through the code, but through the phone, as one of the kind neighbors informed...

"Der Heiderhof is a very classy hotel. Well appointed, beautifully decorated and a very helpful staff. The spa and work-out room were wonderful and the breakfast was excellent. There is not much to do in the immediate area but it is only 10 minutes to the city center and perhaps 20 minutes to all the outdoor activities of the AltMuhl nature preserve. My one disappointment was the bed. It was very hard, the pillow too flat, and the comforter too thick for a summer evening. I did not sleep well...

"The Hotel is fairly new, the rooms are well designed and the bathroom is just how it should be. Everything was clean and the smell was neutral, which is good. A really good room to get to, after a long day. The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. They were nice to talk to. There are only 2 things that i would "complain" about: 1. "The hotel was conveniently located. It was clean and comfort was ok. The staff were great. I had a few issues, I did expect better quality, I got a kingsize bed with 1x queen sized duvet and the pillows weren’t very comfortable. Lighting was difficult to figure out, there are too many light switches. I won’t stay again based on the price, I could have stayed somewhere better. "
