"The hotel itself is value for money. Finding the kettle and coffee maker in the room was a plus. The outside space is a lovely sun trap in the evening. We stayed in early June and the area was generally quiet. The hotel was hosting a school trip, which not an issue for us. We were only there for 2 nights, Mon/Tues, which did mean having to drive the 2 miles to Arramanche to find somewhere to eat, as none of the local venues were open on those evenings. Hotel was ideally located for Arromanches, a nice seaside town famous for being the centre of the D-Day landings by the British on Sword beach and the location of the Mulberry B harbour which still dominates the sea horizon.
