"Loved the cherry forest, the local restaurant, the open family space, the hot tub, just everything was wonderful. The only difficulty was the steep slope of the upstairs bedrooms which made for quite a few head bumps. Also the slippery stairs (watch out!). It was a perfect location for visiting our family and sightseeing."

Aus der Wohnküche schaut man auf die Kirche im alten Dorf.Der Lahn-Radweg verläuft fast direkt am Haus. "Das Haus liegt absolut ruhig und entspricht voll der Beschreibung. Die Unterkunft war tipptopp sauber und der Komfort mit allen Basics, wie Bettwäsche, Handtüchern, Klopapier und co war für uns sehr praktisch. Wir haben uns zu zweit sehr wohl gefühlt. "Wir waren für drei Nächte dort und haben es sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist super sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Man kann sehr gut spazieren gehen und zur Therme ist es auch nicht weit. "Wundervolles Häuschen mit sehr hochwertiger und stilvoller Ausstattung. In einem so gemütlichen Bett haben wir selten geschlafen. Die Vermieter waren sehr bemüht, dass es uns an nichts fehlt. Die Kommunikation war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Die Umgebung lädt zu ausgiebigen Spaziergängen ei. Es gibt sowohl viel einsame Natur als auch tolle Museen und Burgen zu sehen. Definitiv eine Empfehlung!"

"The hotel looks like a tiny hamlet of old farm buildings which have recently been renovated. A definite rustic feel to it. Parking is 100 m in front of the hamlet. Hotels.com failed to list this hotel as having a restaurant. As such I ate junk food on the way to the hotel, only to find the perfect restaurant for me. I made space for a delicious salmon salad and wonderful glass of Riesling! The room was good and I slept very well. The only missing utility which I always need as a business traveller, was a desk. I suspect, this would also effect females needing a dressing table. I was shown an alternative room with a tiny glass table. Anyway, it didn't spoil my stay. Wonderful staff. Not too expensive. Great hotel and I would definitely stay again."

Ein Hof im besten hessischen Fachwerkstil, eine Wohnung mit schweren Balken, die die Decke, leicht kurvig halten, moderne Doppelglasfenster im alten Stil, ein Mix aus modernster Küche mit buchstäblich ALLEM, gemischt mit einer Möbelausstattung aus zwei Jahrhunderten und den bequemsten Betten mit Tempurschaumliegefläche. Ein Bad mit grosszügiger Dusche PLUS Badewanne, eine separate Waschstube mit Waschmaschine und Trockner (kostenfreie Benutzung!), ein grosses Wohnzimmer mit geschmackvoller Mischung von alten Möbeln mit einem modernen Sofa. Knarzende Holzdielen mit perfekter Oberfläche, das Ganze luftig und hell. 2 Aussensitze für die, die entweder die Sonne oder den Schatten suchen. Blumen und Grünpflanzen rundum, Hofkatzen, die zu Besuch kommen, Eine natürliche Umgebung, die Frieden ausstrahlt. Ein Begrüssungstrunk hessischen Biers im Kühlschrank, eigene Hofeier und gute selbstgeschöpfte Butter zur Begrüssung. Die Familie Ochs hat hier ein Paradies geschaffen und es fällt schwer wieder abzufahren! Das einzige, was es aus unserer amerikanischen Sicht noch zu ergänzen gäbe, wäre der Komfort einer Klimaanlage. Aber das wäre auch ein wenig pervers - es sei denn sie wäre solar stromversorgt.
