"Bedrooms were a good size. Excellent breakfast. Did not try other meals. Decor is very odd. Deffo lack of taste - all a bit 1980's .Library bar was a good room. Swimming pool and spa facilities were really good. Take your own pillows if you like soft ones. Mattresses were excellent. Convenient for the Hippodrome and you can walk into town. bath tubs were bouncy platic and showers were not brilliant. "

"We booked late and were given a family room. Lovely room, if a little expensive at £252! They also charged us twice but hopefully the manager is on the case for a refund. It was a mobility accessible room, so the bathroom was just one big room, not the prettiest and all open, so toilet next to shower etc...This was minor! "We had a good stay before catching Le Shuttle. It’s very much budget end, but fine for a one night stay. Everything worked, although the plastic toilet flush operating button was cracked and ready to disintegrate. The shower was fine and had a good amount of hot water pressure. The bed was rather hard for my liking, but that seems quite common in France. The sheets and towels were clean and in good condition. "We were looking for a hotel in the centre of town with a car park. This fitted the bill exactly. Staff were excellent. Car park is tight! but Volvo XC60 fitted - but I had to be careful"

"Lovely recently modernised rooms. Good breakfast selection. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was good but the choice is rather limited."

"Check-in was easy but nobody there before 5 pm so no point being early. Security was good checking staff very helpful and friendly. Place needs a good clean though and does smell of damp. Continental breakfast what you would expect for the price. "
