The management was very responsive and helpful, and they provided all the amenities we needed to cook, including a barbecue, which we enjoyed. The quality of the house felt high for the price, and the house was within walking distance to shops and a large grocery store. Solid all around - we wished we had more time to stay there!"

"Was a beautiful little apartment. As soon as you walk in you feel relaxed. Clean and cozy. Heating and music was on to welcome us. The beds were very comfy. The facilities inside were also good. Little treats on the table too. Was a great place to stay and would happily stay again. It is however a 20min walk to the town. But not bad to stretch the legs."

"The place we were meant to stay in was double booked. Luckily another cottage was available. Brown Coat cottage was exceptionally well maintained and had everything we needed for our stay. Only downside was no hot water on 2nd morning and a bit of traffic noise."

"Perfect for our teenagers and us. Our pet enjoyed the lovely big back yard. Grass was a little long in yard but wet season so can’t complain. Linen was clean and rooms clean. Cutlery n glasses needed a little clean but normal for most Stayz. Very spacious. 30min walk to shops in town that was very easy for all."

The whole experience was made even better with the little extra touches provided by our host including a personal anniversary card and a welome pack. "Near new cottage was stacked with goodies and was spotlessly clean. Very comfortable for two couples and sitting on the front deck enjoying our morning coffee and evening drinks was glorious! The night sky was stunning - an uninterrupted view of the Milky Way. The animals on the property were interesting little characters and the fresh eggs we revived were a happy bonus. Mudgee is a lovely friendly town with lots to do. "
