Welcome to Beachwood Escape! This 4 bedroom 2 bathroom ranch-style home is nestled behind the sand dunes of Lake Michigan in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. The home has been completely renovated and is ready for you and your family to enjoy and make lasting memories. Guests will love the spacious bedrooms, which hold 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, and 2 sets of bunk beds. The home comfortably sleeps 10 guests. All bedrooms have smart TV’s. Enjoy the fully stocked kitchen with cooking basics, a coffee bar with Keurig and drip coffee maker, all new appliances, separate laundry area, 2 full size refrigerators, and a grill. Appreciate the unique Tree Carving art on the property. Pack up the provided beach gear and take an easy 5 minute stroll to the sandy beach of Lake Michigan at Peré Marquette. Enjoy the use of the provided bikes to explore the area. Parks and trails are also within walking distance. Popular restaurants and attractions are just minutes away.

The location of the property is perfect! Really appreciated all of the yard games, beach toys, baby items, etc that were provided. Lisa was really responsive to the few questions we had. Overall, a great experience!

Fabulous VRBO so close to the beach!
This was a fabulous property and a wonderful long weekend away. We had our family of four plus a set of grandparents with us for the weekend, and this property was great for that - the master suite was on the opposite side of the house from the rest of the bedrooms, so the grandparents could have their own space and bathroom while we still had a king size bed and the hallway with the kiddos bedrooms all in one place too. The location close to the beach is perfect, and the hosts could not have been nicer or easier to communicate with. The house has all you need to have a nice day at the beach, and is so well appointed, clean, comfortable, etc. Really so nice - we want to come back! Great stay.

Perfect in all ways
If I could give this property 6 stars, I would! Beautifully updated and decorated, this house had all the personal touches that made us feel right at home. My college friends and I enjoyed our time together with plenty of space for almost all of us to have our own bedroom, yet it still managed to feel very cozy. We enjoyed a walk on the beach (very close) and enjoyed the fire pit in the private backyard. I highly recommend this property. I know a few of us plan to return.

Great Week Spent at a Great Property
Our family of 5 spent a week here the first part of August and we absolutely loved everything, the house, the area, the property managers, couldn't have been better. If you're looking for a place to vacation in the Muskegon area, you definitely won't be disappointed. I challenge you to find a better spot for the price.

We had an amazing stay as a family. Everything was perfect at the house. The bedrooms were very spacious beds were extremely comfortable in the entire house had room for the family. The property was exactly as listed - great location with an easy walk to the park and beach. The house itself was beautiful and spotless; all the extra touches made everything perfect (smart tvs, wagon, towels, board games, yard games, etc). This was our first time renting a vacation house and it did not disappoint. Lisa was so easy to work with - very highly recommend!

Perfect for families!
We booked this property as a sort of staycation for 2 somewhat local families and it was perfect. A short drive from GR and a world away. The proximity to the beach and the nearby playground were unbeatable for the littles and we are big fans of the Muskegon scene in general (as compared to other Lake Michigan beach towns). The house itself was spotless (you could literally smell how clean it was upon arrival) and the amenities were awesome. Helpful baby items, games, camp chairs for the backyard, lots of dishes, new/quality appliances, comfy bedding, etc. You can tell that Matt and Lisa put a lot of thought into making this property a special vacation destination.

Lovely house in a great location
The house was great, in a great neighborhood just a short walk to a great beach and playground. There were a bunch of pleasant surprises at the house for our kids -- beach gear, a wagon, games, balls, bikes. Loved our stay and we'll definitely look here first next time we're planning to come to Muskegon.

Great house! So much fun to hang out in the backyard and play games with the family which ranged 10-80 years old. It was a quick walk to the beach and offered some great morning runs. The bikes that were available were a nice bonus which allowed us to bike to The Deck to listen to live music.

This was a great house for our family of 6 ! The rooms were huge and the layout was great. The property was super clean and everything looked brand new. This home goes in our top 3 favorite rentals! The house was very clean. Beds comfortable. Lovely furnished home. The WiFi and TV’s worked with no problem. Lisa sent a nice welcome note the day of our arrival and also reached out the day of a big snow to let us know someone was coming by to do snow removal. It was really nice to have access to the garage as well. The home is super comfortable. We absolutely loved everything about our stay.

I cannot say enough to recommend this property. The host was prompt in returning our messages and helped us to navigate our first trip with our infant. The property sits literally within a five minute walk of the sand, on what appears to be a world class beach.

This home is exactly as described. Very clean, lots of space, close to everything especially the beach. My grandkids loved the bunk bed room and had so much fun with the toys that were provided at the house. The beach chairs, umbrella, and wagon were put to good use. Thank you for having those items for your guests to use. The home is equipped with everything you will need. We have already decided that we are coming back next summer for a week!

Perfect spot for a Lake Michigan getaway - without the waterfront prices!!
My husband and our two kids (3 and 11), along with my sister, BIL, and their three kids (4, 7 , and 13) stayed here for 6 days and had an absolutely lovely time. The house is recently renovated and is incredibly cozy and modern - and VERY clean! We wanted to be walking distance to the beach and this location was perfect. 5 minute easy walk to a nice beach and a great park just around the corner. The kids LOVED it. The games and toys in the kids room provided entertainment on rainy days so that was a nice plus. I highly recommend this spot, Matt and Lisa are wonderful and friendly and fantastic hosts!!
