"I really needed a rest day on my Camino de Santiago, and the hotel was simple and perfect. Rooms are clean, oldies but goodies. At the bar-reception, Thiago was very nice and helpful. The hotel is a good, safe option, if you are not looking for luxuries but convenience. It's centrally located, blocks away from all the historic places, and close to all dining and bars in town."

"Lovely staff but the hotel is looking quite tired and would benefit from refurbishment. The third/bunk bed is really only suitable for children. My 16 year old son said it was like sleeping in a coffin. Though clean, my own bed smelt a little and the sheets were ripped. I think many people have smoked in the room, despite the hotel’s no smoking policy. "

"The Hotel Branka is lovely. The people running it are extremely nice and kind, and the welcome very genuine. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and as described in the details. There is a nice little bar and a shady terrace. Breakfast was fairly basic. The harbour in the village is lovely, and just 2 minutes walk away. Parking in Mundaka is challenging to say the least. The streets are very narrow, and much of the parking is residential. As we left, we saw a larger, slightly out of town...
