Our family had a great stay at the hotel. There were many things, big and small, that made it such an enjoyable stay for us. . One of the main things that drew us to the hotel like everyone else was the pool. It definitely did not disappointed. It is as picturesque as the professional photo. The clear water, the well thought-out layout of the courtyard, and the balcony all added to a feeling of being in an oasis hideaway in the middle of a bustling beach town. . The room was spacious with small and thoughtful design that made staying at the hotel for 1.5 weeks very comfortable. . The breakfast buffet was something we looked forward to every morning. The menu had lots of variety and it changed daily, making it an exciting thing for our two young girls. They are still talking about it now after we returned from vacation . The staff was a big plus here. We learned that this is a tightly-run family business and they make sure nothing is amiss here. From the groundkeepers to the front desks, kitchen staffs, and housekeeper, everyone was nice, helpful, and attentive. . There is a golden egg that we learned on our last day at the hotel. All of the arts around the hotel were painted by the patriarch of the family. He is a very famous painter of Vietnam who had captured many different eras of a beautiful country through his artistic interpretation. The hotel is his art exhibit. Really cool! We look forward to staying at Salmalia again and it's great to support local business.

The property was in a great location on the river, and has easy walking access to all the best spots in Hoi An. The rooms were a bit dark but the hotel staff were happy to assist by providing extra lamps for the room. Breakfast was ok, not fabulous, and the service at the Japanese restaurant in house was terrible. The hotel staff were generally very helpful. The rooftop bar is cool too!

The property itself lies on a priceless and beautiful view in Da Nang. The rooms are spacious and the patios are beautiful to oversee the property and the ocean. Unfortunately, the management runs the resort with Little staff. I know the employees are busy and working hard, but for the size Property it is they just don’t have enough staff.. I believe they have over 500 rooms, and only for cleaning ladies to clean the entire resort, just not good. The front desk is horrible. They don’t even treat you unless you walk up to them hiding behind the front desk. On my departure, no one made even an effort to carry my luggage to the vehicle. The breakfast buffet was good for the first two days, but when you stayed there 21 days it gets old because it’s always the same thing. Towards the end, I even noticed that some of the food that I did pick up wasn’t even fresh and that includes the meat. The chances are I will never stay at this resort again and it is unfortunate because it has so much potential. The best thing that could happen to this resort is that it’s been sold to new owners and management so they can maybe make the oasis out of this resort that it probably could be

The stay at Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort and Spa was wonderful. The fscility was delightful and the staff cordial and helpful. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. I will definitely go back.
