Sugar Villa can comfortably house up to 9 guests, either you are a multi-child family or a group of friends. Entering the villa, you will find a carefully decorated living room with modern style and a sense of elegance, which consists of a beautifully designed sofa, that could be used as a sofa bed and accommodate one more person. There is also a wooden furniture for the TV equipment and a PlayStation upon request. Rest to the sofa, reading your favourite books, watching TV or playing games with your company and have the time of your life! You will be charmed by the design, in the colours of the sea and the calmness that you will receive. The living room has also direct access to the outdoor sitting area and the pool! Location Overview :
Sugar Villa is located less than 5 minutes by car from Bali village and its sandy beach. Bali was a small fishing village, but over the years has become a charming touring village, overlooking the little fishing harbour and the sea. It is a very attractive and romantic place, combining sea and mountains. Life is easy going enjoying the sun and the clear calm sea at a number of sandy and shingly beaches. Bali is a modern seaside resort, which offers a large choice of taverns ,restaurants, a bakery, an ATM machine, super markets, a butchery and cheese shop, as well as a wide variety of little shops, diving school, bars and cafes.
Bali is accessible from any part of the island. It is ideal for family and romantic holidays. Bali has four beaches, which are formed in sandy coves with nice greenish waters. The beaches are almost always calm, since the direction of Bali is western. They all are suitable for children and well organised. Moreover, buses from Heraklion and Rethymnon run to Bali. Furthermore, from the local harbour, excursion boats run daily to Rethymnon. The passengers have the chance to admire a unique coastline with beautiful caves and rock formations.
Also Panormo, which is a friendly sea side village, is 15 minutes away by car and well known for its sandy beaches. The two main beaches are Limanaki and Limni. Both of them are sandy with clear blue water and ideal for kids, as they are shallow and well protected from winds. The beaches are organised and equipped with sun beds, umbrellas. Water sports are also available.
The village has all the facilities and amenities one would need : well-stocked mini-markets, post office, pharmacy, a doctor’s office, a butcher's shop, bakery (hot, fresh bread every morning from 9 am), various gift shops and traditional seaside shops at very reasonable prices.
Further, there is a good selection of cafes and excellent traditional tavernas, overlooking the harbour and the sea, which offer a warm welcome and a beautiful setting to enjoy some traditional Cretan food, fish as well as international dishes.
