Hotel is fairly new...rooms were good size...There's a ramp connecting the train station to hotel which is super convenient...a bit far from Tokyo about 25mi on the rapid train...but overall it was a fantastic stay...

Brand new hotel. Great location.
A brand new hotel that just opened in January 2019. The rooms are roomy by Japanese standards and so was the unit-bath module in the room. The breakfast was OK. There is a public bath on the top floor with large windows, but for some reason all those window surfaces were covered with non-transparent material so one cannot look out to enjoy the view. The manners of the other guests at the public bath was quite bad (e.g. soaking in the large tub before washing their bodies) so going there was not pleasant at all. Location-wise, it is just off the Ragareyama-Ootakanomori station which is serviced by the Tsukuba-Express and the Tobu-Urban-Garden Line so it is quite convenient. Bus access is available to the University of Tokyo Kashiwa Campus from the station. There is a large shopping center on the other side of the station with many shops, restaurants, and a multi-screen movie theatre, though I was not impressed by the selection of restaurants there.
