It is located above cloud line, so you have to wake up early to see the mountains before the clouds roll up from the valley. That also makes the rooms a bit damp and musky. The hot water was a trickle, no shower, had to resort to bathing with cups of water from the sink - the only source of hot water.
On the other hand, being a cafe that all hikers went to after reaching the peak tower viewing point, it had a fully staffed and functional kitchen that could produce everything listed on the menu --- and pronto!!!!
Nothing much to see around there. Easy walk down to Nagarkot chowk and up to the tower , Shiva shrine and buddhist monastery. Patchy phone signal and wifi coverage. Be prepared to entertain yourself, meditate and chill.
